Accounts, Passwords and Security
If any of the services provided on this Site requires you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, accurate and complete information as requested on the applicable registration form. You further agree to maintain and promptly update such information to keep it current, accurate and complete. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password(s). You acknowledge and agree that certain services may provide password-restricted access to customer information such as names and certain products. By using this Site and registering for such services, you consent to Ciation's display of such information via the services and accept all risks of unauthorized access to such information. You are also fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Ciation immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password. Ciation will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Ciation or any other party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else's account at any time.
Trial Period
A trial period, if offered, shall only be for the duration specified. You acknowledge and accept that no extension of a trial period will be granted beyond the stated duration except where expressly provided otherwise in an agreement between you and Ciation. You further acknowledge that the trial period is per subscriber, so that if multiple subscription sign ups are performed by you, only one trial period will be honored no matter how many times you choose to sign up.
Registered Users
Registered users are different from subscribers. Whereas a subscriber may have an initial free trial period followed by an automatic paid subscription, a registered user only has a free trial period and it will not automatically convert to a paid subscription. During the free trial period of a registered user advertising will be presented along with the various stock research content requested by the registered user (this may affect response time). The advertising displayed is not secure content so our secure pages will have a mix of secure and non-secure elements. Since no credit card information is ever asked for or used for registered users this will not be a security risk to any financial information.
Warranties and Disclaimers
Except where expressly provided otherwise in an agreement between you and Ciation, all information, software, products and services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. In no event shall Ciation be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or damages for loss of profits, revenue, data or use, incurred by you or any third party, whether in an action in contract or tort, arising from your access to, or use of, this Site or any other hyperlinked site. Stocks and options trading are not appropriate for everyone. There is a substantial risk of loss associated with trading these markets. Losses can and will occur. No system or methodology has ever been developed that can guarantee profits or ensure freedom from losses. No representation or implication is being made that using this service will generate profits or ensure freedom from losses.
